As many of you know, I have a tendency to “save” things. My favorite quote is “It’s not hoarding if your stuff is cool”. I had this round frame from an old clock and had been moving it around my workshop for well over a year, and yet it was always in the way. Being the good upcycler that I am, I decided that rather than get rid of it, I would figure out a use. A clock was the obvious choice, but I wanted something more. I looked for inspiration around time and decided on something that would remind us to live in the present. So I guess we could consider this a blog post AND a public service message. There is a little bit of irony, as I still included a clock, but I think the message is poignant. 
There is so much stress in our day to day lives, but sometimes we need a gentle reminder to live in the moment. I hope this clock serves as that reminder in its new home.
