Cutting Board Hack

I want to share a simple cutting board storage idea with you.  If you are like us, you use cutting boards several times a day (my favorites happen to be wood).  The challenge is how to keep them accessible and let them dry completely between uses.  Cue my incredibly simple cutting board rack (or hack!)

Keeping the cutting boards on the countertop for easy access is a must in our house.  I created this channeled rack with rubberized feet to allow us to stand the boards up against the backsplash to minimize the storage footprint, but the spaced-out channels allow airflow between the boards to speed dry time.

The rubberized feet prevent sliding. Keeping the rack adjacent to the knives from last week’s post makes everything efficient and accessible.
