I’m Still Here…Wondering What I Can Do

I hope this post finds each of you safe and healthy.  I have been uncharacteristically quiet lately because, frankly, I don’t know what to say.  I find that personally, I am sick of hearing about the Coronavirus.  In contrast, anything else seems frivolous.  So I’m just going to speak from my heart.

This situation sucks.  It is scary and inconvenient and overwhelming.  The loss of life is devastating.

That said, I think this situation also has its gifts.  I think that the gifts are different for each person, but they are there.  It might be an opportunity to realign your priorities.  It might be to spend more time with your immediate family.  It might be to spend some uncomfortable but needed time with your own thoughts.

As there is absolutely nothing we can do to control the outside world, I invite you to be curious about the blessings buried in this situation.  Look for the opportunities to see positives. My sweet girl August is my constant reminder about curiosity (and laughter).

Love one another.  Stay kind. Be well.  I look forward to a time in the near future when we as a world can focus on something besides the virus.  Our future is going to be different for sure.  Things will never return to the way things were before.  But look for the gifts.  I promise you, they are there.

Spread the love
