I’m Amy Konop and I started my business as a way to save quality furniture that I found along the way from being discarded.  As my business grew, I started doing custom work with my client’s own furniture.  There is so much satisfaction in taking an item that just isn’t quite working for a client and reworking it into something amazing!  I also build custom furniture, so if you have a tricky space or need a non-standard size, let’s talk!  I bet we can solve it!

He who works with his hands is a laborer.
He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman.
He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist.
~St. Francis of Assisi

We inherited this deacon’s bench when my parents downsized, from the home I grew up in, and moved to a retirement community. The base color of the bench was black oil based paint. The bench was repainted with a cream color latex paint. The latex paint started to peal and we tried to strip both coats ourselves, but just couldn’t get it right. We found Amy with a Google search and emailed a picture of the bench, requesting a quote to repaint the bench to match the stereo cabinet in our family room.  She offered us several creative options in terms of the finish so that it would be a refreshed version of an antique, without compromising its integrity.
We were ecstatic with the results and her quality of work.  We will definitely be keeping her in mind for future projects!

Amy recently painted my old bedroom furniture. She gave me advice on
the overall design and also helped me select the right colors and drawer
pulls. She was professional to work with, timely, and very responsive.
The furniture looks fantastic! Her work is high quality and I would
recommend her to anyone.
