This gorgeous little dresser got a fresh face with some refinishing and a little paint.
When a client contacted me with a picture of this little vintage dresser I absolutely swooned!
Look at the lines and the details! Granted, it was showing its age a bit, but it was clear that with a makeover it would be a show-stopper.
The goal of the finished piece was a blend of two people’s taste. She likes lighter colors, and he loves dark wood. We achieved this by staining the top and drawer pulls in a deep brown that also worked to help camouflage some of the damage and painting the body in a custom blend of white and gray. When I completed staining and painting, I consulted with the client to get just the right amount of distressing that she was looking for.
The finished dresser is gorgeous and will go on to serve this family as an entry table. I absolutely love being able to help keep good furniture in the family.
